OCT 26, 2026 โ MOVEMENT LAUNCH
Your Life Doesn't Begin After Weight Loss
BIG to Strong launches a new movement putting a life with more possibilities ahead of the number on the scale.
SAVANNAH, Ga. โ October 26, 2026 โ What if you woke up this morning and discovered you'd somehow eaten five whole birthday cakes in your sleep?
Does today still count?
BIG to Strong says yes.
As long as even the smallest meaningful action is still available, the day isn't lost. Not tomorrow. Not Monday. Not January 1.
Today counts.
That extreme example captures an idea at the heart of BIG to Strong, a movement inviting people who know life in a bigger body to build a life with more possibilities.
For many people, the weight loss journey has a clear destination: lose the weight, then live the life you've been waiting for.
But reaching a target weight doesn't necessarily mean arriving at the life you imagined.
BIG to Strong changes the primary mission.
Build a life with more possibilities.
Weight loss and strength training still have important roles to play. But they're supporting roles. Building a life with more possibilities takes center stage.
You can have more of the life you want right now, as you are, while working to expand it even further.
BIG to Strong asks a question that comes before any particular approach to weight loss: What are we actually trying to gain from losing the weight?
As medical advances such as GLP-1 medications make significant weight loss achievable for a growing number of people, that question becomes even more relevant.
BIG to Strong was created by WideBlaze, who repeatedly lost significant amounts of weight only to discover that reaching his goal hadn't delivered the life he expected.
โI lost a whole person's worth of weight, more than once. And every time, I thought I'd finally get the life I'd been daydreaming about. But it didn't work that way. I was smaller, sure, but I was still waiting to live. I didn't just want to lose weight. I wanted something more,โ WideBlaze said.
Change the story. Change the measure. Change the meaning.
In BIG to Strong, progress is measured in action over time. On a great day, that might be a challenging workout. On a five-birthday-cake day, it might be something much smaller.
Action is the win.
The scale still matters. BIG to Strong treats it more like a weather report: useful information for making decisions, but not the Supreme Court ruling on progress or self-worth.
Reaching a goal weight doesn't end the quest. Neither does gaining weight, a rough night with food, missing a workout, or losing momentum.
Nothing breaks everything. The quest continues.
โYou do not have to delay for the perfect day to live the adventure that is your life,โ WideBlaze said. โTomorrow is important. But today is what counts.โ
BIG to Strong is free. Through its website, people can explore the Adventure Map, a visual guide to the challenges and possibilities along the way, and find a starting point that fits their lives. They can also get practical guidance on nutrition, strength training (including ways to start when movement is hard), and staying on course when life gets messy. The Community Campfire on Discord offers a place to connect with others on similar paths.
BIG to Strong plans to introduce its first community event, Expeditions, in 2027, with optional side quests inviting participants to explore what their growing capabilities make possible today.
BIG to Strong is a quest framework, not a medical or clinical service.
More information about BIG to Strong and starting the quest is available at BIGtoStrong.com.
